Year 6 Tutoring Programme
The Marquis Year 6 English and Maths Bridging Course is available in Term 4 (Term 3 of the school year) or as a Holiday Program Intensive. This short program supports students transitioning from Year 6 to Year 7 by strengthening key literacy and numeracy skills, laying the foundation for future academic success.
All Marquis Programs are aligned with the latest NESA syllabus and taught by qualified, experienced educators with in-depth knowledge of NAPLAN, HSC, and the NESA syllabus. We also provide personalised, detailed feedback on all students' work.

Year 7 NAPLAN Preparation Program
A Structured Learning Methodology that Works
The Marquis Weekly 1½-hour class + 1-hour drop-in tutorial.
- Quiz (10 minutes): Tests previously covered topics to track progress.
- Theory (70 minutes): Covers foundational and complex topics using first principles and exam-style questions from the NSW Year 6 NESA syllabus. Focus on creative and critical thinking for English, and problem-solving for Maths.
- Review (10 minutes): Clarify understanding and address any challenges with the educator.
- Homework: Take-home exam-style tasks to reinforce learning, with detailed feedback. Students have a week to complete the tasks, then attend tutorials for error correction.
- Module Exams: Midterm and end-of-term exams mimic real test conditions to boost confidence, with feedback provided to address weaknesses before the final exam.
