Let’s be real: English gets a bad rep. And honestly? I get why. When it’s taught like a game of quote memorisation and generic essay templates, it’s hard to feel excited about it — or even see the point.

But that’s exactly why I tutor. I believe English doesn’t have to be dry, repetitive, or confusing. In fact, it can be one of the most empowering subjects if you’re taught how to really connect with your text, understand your characters, and explore the deeper meanings behind what you're reading.
